Fall Season Playoff Reminders
We are now approaching the playoff section of the Fall 2012 PADA season. Here are a few reminders on PADA playoffs this season:
We are NOT crossing A-1 and A-2 divisions this season, as teams in these divisions have different average rankings and these are considered separate divisions this season.
In Fall season, teams will carry home division in the playoff rounds until the finals. The finals will all be held in one place. Stay tuned for confirmation on location for this.
League Republic should be updated soon with a playoff bracket for each division. I will link it here when it is set up this week.
C divisions will cross over in the final. The winner of the C-1 division will play the winner of the C-2 division in the C division final.
C division is the only division to play a quarterfinal playoff match. All other divisions will only play a semifinal and final match. Below is the schedule for playoffs:
Thursday – November 29th – Quarterfinal Playoff Match (C Division)
Saturday – December 1st – B, A-2, A-1 & AA makeup matches must be played and results entered on LR.com
Thursday – December 6th – Semifinal Playoff match
Thursday – December 13th – Final Playoff match (Location TBA)
A few final things about playoff matches:
Matches are finished once one team has won the appropriate number of legs to secure the victory (15 in C and B or 19 in A or AA).
Sportsman votes are not tallied in the playoffs.
The only highlights that are counted in the playoffs are the ones the get you a pin reward (White Horse, 180, 9-count).
The quarterfinal and semifinal matches will be played at the home of the team that is higher in the division standings.
