PADA Statement on the COVID-19 for league and Oregon Open
PADA Statement on COVID-19
Good Morning,
I’m sure you are all aware by now of the effects of COVID-19 is having on our daily lives. We felt it’s the appropriate time that we reach out to the community and give an update. As of right now, large gatherings of 250+ people are being postponed and cancelled and they are recommending less interaction with others if necessary. This does not affect our weekly Dart League but it may affect the Oregon Open come May if there is not a better situation. We are currently monitoring the situation very closely and will take action as needed closer to the date.
As for our weekly league, please take all necessary precautions as you see fit. We respect everyone’s concerns surrounding this issue so please adjust your conduct based on how others wished to be treated. If that means no handshakes, hugs, fist bumps, etc., please be accommodating of others and follow their requests. We are also open to postponing matches if teams do not feel safe playing them currently. We have plenty of time this year to complete matches so time is not an issue. We do ask that you please let us know that you are postponing so we can keep track of matches needed to be completed.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the board and we’ll answer them as quickly as we can.
Thanks,
Scott
